Fantasy deck-building game

BeaureCard is a premium role-playing game developed by BeaureCard Games. It is a deck-building adventure set in a dark fantasy world. In it, players will go on a perilous journey to traverse a world ravaged by demons and attempt to defeat enemies by depleting their cards.

Much like Across the Obelisk or Library of Luina, BeaureCard features roguelike elements in its gameplay. Players can choose from multiple characters with special abilities, as well as experience a unique mechanic wherein their health will be directly linked to the number of cards that they have on hand. A demo is also available.

Of cards and demons

The game takes place in the titular dark fantasy world of Beaurecard, wherein a portal to the underworld has mysteriously opened, letting in all kinds of demonic creatures to ravage the land. You must now venture into the depths of the chaos and madness and battle hordes of otherworldly minions to reach and defeat the demon lord and save everyone.

Choose from three heroes, each with their own unique skills and abilities to utilize in battle. Encounter all kinds of enemies and collect more than 100 different cards along the way. Now, battles have a different approach to health bars as your HP is linked to your cards. Thus, the goal becomes who can deplete the opponent's deck faster to win.

You can also utilize special traps that activate once depleted, as well as various blessings and curses that can counteract the ones your opponent uses. The gameplay is pretty straightforward and is a lot of fun once you get used to its mechanics. One thing missing that could be added in the future is online multiplayer, which would make the experience all the more engaging and interesting.

Fun and engaging

All in all, BeaureCard is a fun deck-building game that adds a nice twist to the formula with its different approach to dealing with health points. There are multiple characters to choose from, plenty of cards to collect, and it is easy to learn yet hard to master. If you're a fan of these types of games, give it a try now and see for yourself. Recommended.
